AEP Channel Counties will receive an Outstanding Chapter Activity award at the Sands to Shores 2026 AEP State Conference. The award recognizes the Chapter’s Fall Kick-Off events, which are hosted in conjunction with the APACC. These cornerstone events build a strong professional network of environmental professionals and adjacent land use professionals across the Central Coast. Through interactive icebreakers and presentations from distinguished guest speakers ranging from esteemed professors to members of congress, these Kick-Off events promote programming, professional development, student engagement, and serves as a meaningful component of the AEP Channel Counties and Central Coast APA membership.
